Machine overview
The M2 Max pairs a 12-core CPU with a 30-core or 38-core GPU and 400 GB/s of unified memory bandwidth. Configure 32 GB, 64 GB, or up to 96 GB of unified memory and 512 GB up to 8 TB of SSD storage.
It's a clear step above any Mac mini for parallel compiles, running many simulators or virtual machines at once, 4K–6K video editing and export, audio production, and GPU-accelerated rendering — a well-balanced Studio for teams that need more headroom than the base Mac mini.
