Machine overview
The first Ultra-class Mac Studio chip, the M1 Ultra joins two M1 Max dies for a 20-core CPU, a 48-core or 64-core GPU, and 800 GB/s of unified memory bandwidth. Configure 64 GB or 128 GB of unified memory and 1 TB up to 8 TB of SSD storage.
It remains a capable, cost-effective choice for large parallel builds, machine-learning workloads, 8K video editing, and GPU-heavy 3D rendering — a mature platform that keeps large projects and datasets resident in memory.
